We who attended were impressed with the realism and ease of flying the simulator. At the time of our meeting, they offered the Cessna 172 (both the standard “six pack” and G1000), the Cirrus SR-22 (Avidyne panel with Garmin 430’s), and multi-engine trainer with the standard ”Six pack” and Garmin 430/530’s.

ARTC’s simulator training is fully FAA loggable flight time. In fact, flight training completed in the Redbird simulator can be applied toward Private (2.5 hrs), Commercial (50 hrs), Instrument (20 hrs), and ATP (25 hrs) certificates.
